Mia's hat and scarf

I have finally finished the ruffled scarf for my daughter last night, was really simple to make, although it did take me nearly two weeks to complete because I have been so busy. The little beanie hat took me a weekend to make. I had some wool left from making leg warmers for them and had seen lots of the ruffle scarfs in the shops and loved the look of them but thought they must be really difficult to make, how wrong I was.

Size 5mm (J) Hook
DK Yarn


Ch 2. 10 DC in second ch from hook. Join with a sl st to the first dc.
Ch 1. Work 2 dc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first dc.(20 dc)

Scarf

Ch to the length that you require your scarf
1st Row Miss 3 ch then 2 tr into next chain then 3tr in every chain to end
2nd Row Ch 3 then 1 tr into 1st stitch and then 2 tr into every stitch to end
3rd Row Ch 3 then1 tr into every stitch to end and fasten off.

Hi to anyone who might actually be looking at this!
Well although my blog title mentions Jill I am in fact Chris . . . . confused?
It's like this (are you sitting comfortably) good
I'm a single mum to two wonderful daughter's Georgina (11) and Mia (9) it was 
my eldest daughter commenting on my facebook page, that got me thinking, she said that it was like a blog,  I would love to do a blog but what could I do it on?  You see I am a Jack of all trades and master of none!  Hence the title. 
So my blog I have decided will be about whatever is going on in my life be it a creative project I have on the go.

or just something new that I have done or tried.
I just turned the big 50 and it's just a number, albeit a big number!!! So blogging its my latest creative project if you like.
